Your loved one's ashes will be scattered in the beautiful high Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, among majestic peaks, serene forests and clear cascading creeks. We personally walk into the high mountain meadows and forests to find that special final resting place under the oaks, pines and cedars or in a field of wild flowers. Our High Sierra Gardens are in the shadow of granite peaks surrounded by Sierra National Forest land, several miles south of Yosemite National Park.

High Sierra Gardens was founded to serve those who felt moved by snow capped peaks and meadows strewn with alpine flowers. With this personal scattering on land, our family owned business provides a sense of "place" that aerial scattering does not. For religious or personal desires we are also able to bury the ashes. If you desire to send a sealed envelope with personal eulogies, prayers or farewells, it will be photographed at the scattering site with the ashes, then burned and scattered also. The photo will be sent to you with a copy of the official document stating date, time and location of scattering.

Due to the remoteness of this area and its variable weather, we are not able to coordinate the scattering with family present.
